Funderapark was established in 2017. In Fundera Park, your family can enjoy your holiday with pets in their natural habitat. They have more than 25 types of birds and more than 20 Exotic Animal. None of them are caged; you can enter their aviary and interact with them. They have a petting farm, farm animals, ostriches, emus, a cat house, a Husky Play Area, and many exotic animals and fishes.
You can find all types of birds here. You can interact with every species, like Dogs, Cats, Birds, Goats, and Rabbits. They are very friendly. You can also touch and feed them. You will have a hands-on experience of feeding birds and animals and interact with them, which also gives an opportunity for the younger generations to learn practically about nature and it’s importance. You can bring your camera to capture every moment of your visit. You must visit this place along with the kids. They will love this place more. Your visit will be a truly enriching and memorable experience.
The extra activities at the fish spa, net cricket, toy train rides, and the 7D show are definitely worth it. It has a small cafe inside, offering decent, delicious choices. It also has a small gift shop of handmade items with a great variety of decors. Restrooms are well managed here and they have ample car parking space. It's a must-visit destination for anyone interested in exploring the bird park.

You can visit Mountain View Adventure Park and experience a truly memorable adventure. You can discover fun and adventure amidst nature and beauty here. This place is surrounded by lush greenery. They provide 1) Zipline, 2) Paintball, 3) ATV, 4) Bunjee Ejection, 5) Giant Swing, 6) Trekking to waterfall, and many others.
This is located quite far away from Yelagiri (about 4.4 km), but going to this place itself will be adventurous. You have to drive through forest roads, which will give you an off-road driving experience. If you plan to visit AR Thanga Kottai, you must also visit this place closer to AR Thanga Kottai.
You can take all the activities as a package to save money (ATV is not included in the package). The high Rope course is one of the best here and worth trying. You should not miss this if your fitness level and stamina are good. This is one of the best among many adventure parks in Yelagiri Hills.

Cloud Forest Entertainment Park is a fantastic place to visit for entertainment, especially for kids. It is the best place for family & kids to enjoy. This park is well-maintained, with clear walking paths and plenty of seating areas to rest and enjoy the scenery.
They have lots of fun activities like a trampoline, net cricket, archery, fish spa, and rose garden, etc.. The ticket cost is Rs.200 per person for 18 activities. All these 18 activities are at this affordable entry fee. The park has swings and a special area that will remind you of your childhood memories. It is an excellent place for people of all ages and they can enjoy to the fullest. The atmosphere here is pleasant, with lots of natural surroundings.
The archery, badminton, cricket, volleyball games, and trampoline will make the experience more enjoyable. This Entertainment Park is not just for kids alone but also for all age groups. It is also an excellent place for groups, whether it’s an office tour or a day out with friends.
Bird feeding is one of the must-do activities here. It is a fantastic place for bird lovers. The kids would love this place, and it's a must-visit place.

It is one of the best view of the whole Yelagiri Hills. There is a nice view point up there. It is a good place to see both sunrise and sunset. The view will be terrific and beautiful. There are 3 towers from which you can see the 3 sides of the hill. Ideal time to visit this place is early morning or the late evening i.e. sunrise or sunset.
It will be nice to drive up the narrow road to reach the parking space. Car and bike can go up to parking point. From there, you need to trek for around half km to reach the cliff view point.
It is relatively unknown place in Yelagiri Hills and Tourist were not allowed here since it is under Forest department. In order to make it one of the better attractions in Yelagiri Hills, Forest department has started the work to setup stone track and 3 towers for the Visitors. Work is still in progress and it is expected to be completed by April 14, 2024. Visitors are allowed now for free since work is in progress now. Once it is opened, entry fee of around Rs.50 will be collected. It will definitely be a must-visit place after it is opened for public.
Attention: You are advised to go as a group if you plan to go before 6.30 am or after 6 pm. For your safety, avoid going alone during this time if no people are present.

It is an excellent place to walk around and take some good photos. Kids can be tempted to make their chocolates.
They provide a chocolate-making experience; you can capture this unique experience with your camera. You will have a chocolate-making experience through a handmade chocolate workshop. There is no factory as such as they mentioned in their name, 'Chocolate Factory'. It is just a Chocolate store. Inside the Chocolate store, they have a nice collections for gifts.
Overall, it is a decent place for a family with kids. They mainly target the young population. They have decent selfie spots for your Instagram. You might get bored and don't like this place if you are a bachelor or older adult. However, you must note that this is one of the highlighted sightseeing places in Yelagiri Hills. You must visit this place if you come with your kids. Kids will love this place.

It is a decent place for Kids. They have games like a jumping castle, trampoline, kids' waterboats, and a few more games for adults. They do have a small Birds and Fish park separately. The Musical Water Fountain show is really a good one for kids to enjoy. All these are covered on your entry ticket with a few games package. The 10 to 20 minutes musical water fountain show is mesmerizing and beautifully organised.

Go-kart racing is a fun and thrilling motorsport. It will be a very overwhelming experience and you will enjoy every moment of it. The track at Yelagiri Karting is well maintained. It is one of the best spot at Yelagiri for adventurous rides. If you are a moto enthusiast, you will enjoy this place. You can choose the single kart if both adults want to drive. They also have target shooting, fish spa and VR here. VR experience here will be one of the best. The staffs here are very courteous and helpful. It is also one of the must visit on Yelagiri hills.

The boat house is located within the lake park. It is a few meters' drive or walk to the park entrance from the main road. This is a small park with lake view and boating.
It is a tricky place to park your vehicle since the parking is unstable. Private Parking is available in this area.
There is a small lake here. You can have fun with your friends and family in this boat house park. Entry to the park is 20/- per adult and 10/- for children.
There are two types of boating (rowing and pedal boats). You will have a 10 to 15-minute ride to enjoy the views. A minimum of 2 people should travel. The price for boating is 50 per head and 250 for self-pedalling boats. You might have to wait for your turn.
Families and couples are mostly seen in this park. Swings are available here for all age groups. It is one of the to-do things and one of the tourist places in Yelagiri.

Nature Park is located adjacent to Punganoor Lake, spread over an area of 12 acres. Several species of plants suited to the region's rocky terrain have been planted in the park. The nature park is very well maintained, and it is studded with plenty of varieties of trees, well-laid-out pathways, beautifully lit fountains, and so on. The park also has an artificial waterfall. There is a bathing facility available in this cascade.
The nature park contains a children's park, a musical fountain, an aquarium, a seasonal garden, a bamboo house, and a poly house, to name a few attractions. It is a perfect place for both kids and elders. The musical fountain has the water dancing to popular songs. The musical fountains show is there at 7 PM every day. The fish aquarium has a large variety of fish and tortoises.
Entry Fee is Rs.15/- for adults, Rs.5/- for children, and Rs 25/- for musical fountain.
There are a good number of parking in front of the park, but it may not be good enough for a busy day. It has a lot of benches and natural stones to sit and relax. It is an excellent place to spend some time with friends and family.

This is a main trekking point with moderate difficulty in Yelagiri Hills. You will have a scenic trek amidst the mist and mountains. It is an excellent place to explore for Spiritual seekers and nature lovers.
It is not rugged terrain; steps are made of stones, and boulders will guide you to the top. You can hear the chirping of the birds throughout the trek. You need to make sure to carry enough water.
You can trek for 1.5 km free, and then you will see a forest check post where the officials (Forest department) charge Rs.350/- per person to trek above that point. The first 1.5 km will be a refreshing walk. The next 2 km will take around 2 hours to climb up and 45 minutes to climb down.
Friendly local dogs may accompany you. You can carry some biscuits for them. On Saturday and Sunday, more people will come here for the trek.

Jalagamparai waterfall is one of the primary places of interest in Yelagiri. River Aattaru of the Yelagiri hills gushes down the rocks as the Jalgamparai falls..
It is located 20 km from the highway. It is around 45 km from Athanoor, Yelagiri. It takes about 50 minutes to reach here from Yelagiri Hills. But it will take almost 2 hours to reach it with bad road conditions and ghats. The roads are greenish and fun to drive.
It is one of the most nice waterfalls in Tamil Nadu. It is a good place and can be visited for relaxing. The peak season here is from October to February.
The entry fee to Waterfall is ₹10. The parking fee for a car is ₹50. Many street vendors are available for snacks like bajji, bonda, poori, and masala poori. Otherwise, no food is available. There is a beautiful temple at the entrance, which can be visited after a bath.
You need to make sure that the Jalagamparai falls has water in it. Because the water flow might be unpredictable and you don't want to get disappointed. For visiting Jalagamparai falls, the ideal months to go are November, December, and January. There is not much use in visiting the falls during the summer months of April or May because the water is quite unpredictable. Before you schedule your trip to the Jalagamparai falls, be sure the Attaaru River has water available.
You can take a bath in the waterfall. Taking a bath in the fall will be fun. Barricades are there to hold them and stand under the waterfall. The waterfall gives a nice head and back massage. Changing rooms are available for free, but they are not clean. You can still carry some extra clothes and a towel. There are a lot of monkeys around. So you need to keep a watch on food items.
If you trek down to the falls, then it will be adventurous. So, if you want to go to Yelagiri, then try trekking to this place. You will easily find the trekking route in Google Maps.
If you like adventures, you can trek from the last village of Yellagiri (Nilavoor). You can go into deep forest all the way trekking in dense forest, to have one of the best trekking experiences.
For all adventure seekers, this place is highly recommended for trekking. You can try this trekking trial once. After reaching the waterfall, you can take a nice chill bath that will relax you after a challenging walk. With a group of friends, the trekking experience will be great. You can avoid trekking if you come with your family. Trekking will take 2 hours to reach the falls. You need to make sure that you carry enough water with you.

Even though this is not in Yelagiri Hills, it is included in this list as this place is near to Yelagiri Hills and one of the important places to visit. The Indian Institute of Astrophysics is a premier institute devoted to research in astronomy, astrophysics, and related physics. Today, funded by the Department of Science and Technology, the Institute ranks as a premier institution devoted to research and education of astronomy and physics in the country.
The Institute's main observation facilities are located at Kodaikanal, Kavalur, Gauribidanur, and Hanle. The Vainu Bappu Observatory at Kavalur has been the main optical observatory of the Institute for nighttime astronomy since the late 1960s. There are several telescopes in operation here, the foremost among these being the 2.34 metre Vainu Bappu Telescope.
Vainu Bappu Observatory (VBO) is located in the scenic Javadhu Hills at Kavalur. It is a must-visit place in the Tirupattur district and has Asia's second-largest telescope. This place is 50km from Yelagiri and will take 1.5 hours. So, you need to plan accordingly.
Kids must be shown this place to kindle their interests. This place will ignite our interest in Astronomy. Telescopes are the Gateway to Astronomy. The telescopes they allow us to visit are for scientific research; they explain how it works. Kids will feel so inspired. The biggest telescope is mesmerizing, and you will have an Amazing experience.
Visitors are allowed every Saturday between 2 to 4 pm in batches (50 people in a batch). Entry closes at 4.30 pm. You must walk 1.5 km from the entrance to reach the main telescope (93 inches). There will be a 20 to 30-minute session on how the telescope works, and they will rotate the giant telescope for a demo.
After sunset (no proper timing), they will allow you to see one planet (Venus or Saturn) with your bare eyes via a 6-inch telescope. This is open ONLY if the sky is clear without clouds. You can see the moon very closely using binoculars.
You have to take snacks and water as there are no shops nearby. They charge Rs.50 only for adults. This entry fee includes a complimentary tea/coffee. It is a bit crowded these holidays. So you need to plan to visit this place on a regular Saturday but not on a long weekend.
